Title: Development of droplets in charged oil sprays

Description: Droplet development (filmed at 5440 fps) in a negatively charge injected (~0.15 C/m3) stream of paraffinic white oil (~0.1 cu, ~35 cp) issuing from a 1 mm diameter orifice (to the right of the field of view) at ~5 mL/s. A still photograph and description of the charged droplet development process is presented in the Gallery of Fluid Motion (Phys. Of Fluids, Vol.12, No. 9, September 2000).
