Title: Lockheed c-130 firing flares

Description: The C-130 Hercules is the most versatile transport aircraft ever made. Over 2,000 have been built over 50 years, making it the longest, continuous production run in history. It's used by over 50 countries, and is one of the most used and safest transport aircraft in operation. Here the plane is ejecting flares during a test of an infrared missile warning and self-protection system installed on a C-130 Hercules. The trailing vortices formed in the wake are clearly visible. See also over clouds and firing sequence.
