Title: Laboratory simulation of a morning inversion break-up for high N/Q

Description: A V shaped tank is filled with the thermally stratified water. Green dye is injected at the bottom and heating is initiated. The ratio of initial stratification (N^2) and heat flux (Q), N^2/Q was relatively high. Note the existence of horizontal intrusions and the absence of large scale recirculation. Details are presented in Princevac and Fernando, JFM 2008.
