Title: Laboratory simulation of initiation of upslope currents

Description: A tank inclined 3 deg from the horizontal was filled with non stratified water. After the residual motion ceased, green dye was injected at the bottom and uniform bottom heating was initiated. Note the formation of thermal blobs and their upslope movement. Details are presented in Princevac and Fernando (2007).
