Title: Vortex street in a birefringent fluid

Description: This is a vortex street formed by pulling a 3/4" cylinder through a quiescent birefringent fluid. The panel size is 24" x 8" x 1". The internal cylinder is coupled to a magnet on the outside, thus enabling it to be pulled along the length of the tunnel from the outside.
